Police officers quickly confront a suspect

Patrol officers stopped a suspected car thief (33) in Cologne-Raderthal in his Ford on Monday night (April 22) thanks to an attentive resident (43). In the trunk of the 33-year-old, the emergency services found a previously stolen toolbox.
At around 3:10 a.m., the witness had observed three men on the Brühl country road, who first tampered with the tailgate of a Citröen Belingo parked on the side of the road and took a toolbox out of the trunk. Subsequently, the suspects fled in the Ford in the direction of Raderberg. Police officers who were called to the scene stopped the getaway vehicle on the Raderthal belt and temporarily arrested the driver.
