Kerpen (red). Kerpen starts the outdoor pool season: The Türnich outdoor pool will reopen for the first time on Thursday, 9 May. The outdoor pool is open daily from 11.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. until the end of the season. On Saturday, 8 June, the 29th Kerpen Children's Triathlon of the Horrem-Sindorf Swimming Club will take place, so that the outdoor pool will be closed for public swimming on this day.
At the same time as the opening of the outdoor pool in Türnich, the outdoor pool season also begins in the Erft Lagoon in Sindorf. The sunbathing lawn and the outdoor sports pool will be available to bathers from 9 May, the city of Kerpen announces.
The ticket office closes in both pools one hour before the end of opening hours, the end of the bathing time is half an hour before the end of opening hours. Information on admission prices and opening hours of the Kerpen baths can be found on the www.bäder-kerpen.de website.
