Bassist Lori Peri steigt bei The Safety Fire aus
Der Safety Fire Bassist Lori Peri hat sich dazu entschlossen bei der Band auszusteigen. Er veröffentlichte folgendes Statement dazu:
“Hi everyone, Lori here, it is with an extremely heavy heart that I announce that I have left The Safety Fire. Today marks 12 years since The Safety Fire played its first ever show (back then we were called Omega Child…) and I would have never thought all those years ago that we would go on to release two albums and play hundreds of shows to tens of thousands of people across the world. What’s more important than any of that though, is how lucky I am to have met so many amazing people, some who I will call friends for the rest of my life. This band was started through friendship and that is what I am lucky to take away from it.
To our fans, I thank each and every one of you for making any of this possible. Without you guys coming to shows or buying merch none of this could have been possible. It has been the most amazing experience of my life, but everything must come to an end, and this was the right time for me to take a different path. I wish the rest of the boys in TSF the best of luck and I can’t wait to hear what they have in store for their next record.
Oh, and FDP.
X”
Die Band kommentierte Peris Ausstieg ebenfalls:
“We are very sad to see Lori leave, but obviously fully support him in his decision and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
We aren’t looking for a replacement bassist at the moment, and are not sure we ever will, so please don’t message us talking about your mad bass skills. We are keeping this OG.
There will be a new album in 2015. See you then.”
